Mezz Pro-Am made its way to Drexeline Billiards in Drexel Hill PA on Saturday February 25th and Saturday February 26th. A strong field came out to play players like: Shaun Wilkie, AJ Fitzgerald, Michael Wong, Matt Krah, Adam Kielar, Steve Fleming, Muaz Khan, Chuck Sampson, Trenton Marty, Vinny Cimarelli, TJ Moore to name a few. I like to thank Bob Maidhof and his wonderful staff for hosting the event.

Leading the top half of the bracket was AJ Fitzgerald with wins over Anthony Danniballe 7-2, Vinny Cimarelli 7-3, Allan Campo 7-4, Joe Hong 7-5 and Steve Fleming 7-1. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Shaun Wilkie with wins over Frank Bogush 7-3, TJ Moore 7-5, Matt Krah 7-3, Michael Wong 7-2 and Chuck Sampson 7-5.

Playing for the hot seat was AJ Fitzgerald Vs Shaun Wilkie this was a great match that had Fitzgerald fight back from a 5-1 defiset to tie it 5-5 only to see Wilkie bare down and win the set 7-5 sending Fitzgerald to the one lost side.

Making his move on the one lost side was Josh Brothers with wins over Adam Kielar 6-5, Matt Krah 6-2, Jerry Dunne 6-3 Joe Hong 6-3, Chuck Sampson 6-3 and Steve Fleming 6-3 before running into Aj Fitzgerald this was a good match but when it was all said and done it was Fitzgerald winning 6-4 to get to the finals.Waiting for AJ Fitzgerald.

In the finals it was Shaun Wilkie Vs AJ Fitzgerald, this is a true double elimination Aj Fitzgerald would have to beat Wilkie twice in order to win the event. It only took Wilkie one set as he won 7-2 to win the set and the event. Congratulations to Shaun Wilkie on his win.
