Mezz Pro-Am made its way
to South Jersey Billiards in Somerdale NJ on Saturday
January 27th, 2024. A strong field of players came out
to play, players like: Mike Miller, Micheal Praseutsy,
Carl Morgan, Larry Ingram, Jason Halpin, Tony Zubec,
Gio Reyes, Stacy Snyder, Ruben Zapata, Bob Milane, Benny
Blanco and Nick Jankowski to name a few. I would like
to thank Bob Milane and Tony Viesti and their wonderful
staff.
Leading the top was Mike Miller with wins over William
Coskey 6-0, Carl Morgan 6-1, Larry Ingram 6-4. Leading
the bottom half of bracket Micheal Praseutsy with wins
over John Herrmann 6-0, Benny Blanco 6-2, Ruben Zapata
6-2 and Jason Halpin 6-1.
Playing for the hot seat was Mike Miller vs Michael
Praseutsy, this match was one sided with Mike Miller
winning easily 6-0 and sending Michael Praseutsy to
the one lost side. Waiting for Michael Praseutsy was
Jason Halpin this too was a one-sided match this time
it was Michael Praseutsy winning easily 6-2 to get the
finals.
The finals was Mike Miller vs Michael Praseutsy, This
was a rematch from the hot seat. This is a double elimination
event with the second set one game sudden death. It
only took Mike Miller one set as he won easily 6-1.
