Mezz ABCD made it way to Fat Albert’s Delran NJ this event was held on January 29th. A strong field came out to play players like: Benny Blanco, Ron Atzert, Allan Campo, Larry Ingram, Jerry Dunne, Carlo Favretto, Charlie Marshall Jr, Ivo Linkin, Justin Toye, and Thomas Haas. I want to thank Ron Atzert and his wonderful staff for hosting the event.

Leading the top half of the bracket wasAllen Campo with wins over Lou Guynee 7-6, Carlo Favretto 6-5 and Ron Atzert 7-3. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Benny Blanco with wins over Ivo Linkin 7-4, Carl Morgan 7-5, Jerry Dunne 7-5 and Larry Ingram 6-1.

Playing for the hot seat was Allan Campo Vs Benny Blanco this was a great match but it was Benny pulling away to a 6-4 win sending Allan Campo to the one lost side. Waiting for Allan Campo on the one lost side was Ron Atzert this was a rematch from earlier that day, this time it was Ron Atzert coming way with the win 7-4 and a spot in the finals.

In the finals it was Benny Blanco Vs Ron Atzert, this event is a double elimination event first full race second a one game sudden death. Ron Atzert would have to beat Benny Blanco twice in order to win the event. Ron Atzert forfeited the match giving Benny Blanco the win and the event. Congratulations to Benny Blanco on his first MezzABCD event win.
