Mezz ABCD 9 Ball Christmas Classic hosted by Sandcastle Billiards in Edison Nj on Sunday December 11th. A strong field of 33 came out to play players like: Dan McGinnis, Billy Gallagher, Jerry Dunne, Muaz Khan, Caroline Pao, Ryan Gilligan, Ray Lee, Jose Almodovar, Gerard Soriano. Owen Stacy and Benny Blanco. I'd like to thank Ed Liddawi and his wonderful staff for hosting the event.

Leading the top half of the bracket was Billy Gallagher with wins over Karl K 7-5, Jay Brooks 9-5, Caroline Pao 7-5, and Ray Lee 7-6. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Dan McGinnis with wins over Frank Bogush 7-3, Hendry Hernandez 7-4, Paul Marel 7-2, and Jose Almodovar 6-2.

Playing for the hot seat Billy Gallagher Vs Dan McGinnis this was a good mat but when it was all said and done it was Gallagher coming away with the win 7-4 and sending Mcginnis to the one lost side. Waiting for McGinnis on the one lost side was Ray Lee this was a one sided match that had McGinnis winning 7-3 to get to the finals.

In the finals it was Billy Gallagher Vs Dan McGinnins this is a true double elimination McGinnis would have to beat Gallagher twice in order to win the event In the first set it was McGinnis winning 7-4 to force a second set this was a great match that went to the hill it was Dan McGinnis pulling off the set 7-6 and 2016 Mezz ABCD 9 Ball Christmas Classic.
